Zhejiang University was founded in 1928, is the first in China to set up the Department of physics of the high school, a large number of well-known physicists such as Li Zhendao, Wu Jianxiong, Wang Ganchang, Lv Min, Cheng Kaijia here for study or work. Physics experimental teaching center of Zhejiang University is located in the east campus teaching building. The area is 6700 square meters.
